Mr. and Mrs. So immigrated from South Korea with the dream of opening up a restaurant. This dream become a reality when Hungry Hank's Deli opened its doors for the first time in 1981. Prior to this the So's owned a market in North Park.
Fast forward thirty-three years later and you can find the current owner, Miae Aguilar, Mrs. So's youngest child, along with her own children behind the counter serving sandwiches the exact same way when Hungry Hank's first opened.
Hungry Hank's is very thankful to be apart of the Chula Vista Community and is grateful for all the support it has shown. Come stop by and say hi!
